I have begun a journey that will lead to, what I hope will be, a rewarding, self-reliant, career. It started out as a challenge and continues to constantly amaze and frustrate me. When I began my adventure, I had my father supporting me, both emotionally and financially. He was so happy that I was becoming my own boss. He was self-employed his whole life and knew the benefits.
When he passed away in July, my dreams of becoming a self-reliant Virtual Assistant seemed to fade into the background. However, I have come to realize that if I don’t push to succeed with the vigor I began with, I will not only be wasting my own dream but that of my father’s dream for my success. This I will not do.
So this blog has become my vehicle for release and a catalyst for my continual search for knowledge and skill in this very trying, albeit exciting, path to success.
